Moon Poems

The moon tugs at our hearts with the same mysterious intensity that it tugs at the tides, and poets have been looking up and howling at the moon for a long, long time. The Moon Poems reflect that passage of time without being bound by an historical timeline; the main goal is to capture the spiritual essence of the moon. Poets project their wishes and desires on the moon, often addressing it directly, personifying it—when we are alone at night, we are not entirely alone when the moon is present.
